Corona Virus Update March 6th, 2021
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
We are so thankful we live in Canada, in B.C and in the Okanagan where we have seen comparatively few cases of Corona virus compared to other parts of the world. We are also thankful for the leadership shown by our provincial health care leaders in this province.
Our prayer groups and elders meetings, and services all online.
Apart from meeting together virtually on Sundays, we encourage you to also stay in touch with one another, by phone or email or video. Pray for one another. Talk to one another and encourage one another. Remember our security is in Christ. It is He who holds the seven stars in His mighty right hand.
I would also encourage you to seek the Lord’s presence. Remember that in His presence, the mountains melt like wax. The mountains of fears, the mountains of difficulties, the mountains of uncertainty, the mountains of cares; all melt like wax in His great presence.
There are tremendous opportunities during this time of fear for the gospel to go forth and for Christians to be a witness, to step up to help and encourage others where needed. We should still look to see where God is working during this time. Also, if any of you personally need any help, or prayer or encouragement in the coming time, please do not hesitate to call on the elders or on one another.
Glenmore Community Church
Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!
It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard,
on the beard of Aaron,
running down on the collar of his robes!
It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion!
For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.
